Most commercial decaf uses harsh chemical solvents to strip caffeine. We don’t do that. Sweet Ease uses the natural Ethyl Acetate (EA) sugarcane decaffeination process — one of the cleanest and most flavour-preserving methods in the specialty coffee world.

Here’s how it works: green Colombian Arabica beans are gently steamed to open their pores, then soaked in ethyl acetate — a compound naturally derived from fermented sugarcane. The EA bonds selectively to caffeine molecules and carries them away, leaving the flavour compounds completely intact. The beans are then re-dried and carefully roasted to lock in everything that makes a great cup great.
The result is a chemical-free, naturally processed decaf that actually tastes like coffee — rich, sweet, and satisfying.
